Classic chess is a strategic two-player board game played on an 8×8 grid of 64 squares. Each player begins with 16 pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns. The primary objective is to checkmate your opponent’s king, trapping it in a position where it cannot escape capture. The game can be enjoyed against an artificial intelligence opponent or with a friend on the same device. Additionally, the game features tools to help solve chess puzzles.
